OHC has recently moved into its new 147,000 square foot warehouse in Lufkin, Texas in order to accommodate the addition of 2 million board feet of lumber that came with the Sitco acquisition. The new warehouse will contain a fully functional Millwork division of OHC with all of the manufacturing capabilities of their state of the art Stockton Plant. We recently broke ground on the new offices and Machining operations, a building from the current OHC Angelina Plant will be moved to the new Lufkin Warehouse to accommodate the new machines. This new Millwork facility will add an additional 21,000 square feet to the existing structure. Rocky Thigpen, originally from Angelina Hardwoods Co., was brought on to be the new warehouse manager. He has over 30 years of experience in the lumber industry and will be bringing all he has learned to his new position. “We are lucky to have him and can’t wait to see what all he can achieve with his new position” said Lee Robinson, Vice President of OHC.
